Salinas River Walks/ Connecting the Dots

Over the course of seven months in spring, summer, and fall 2019, I organized seven walks along different sections of the Salinas River, some dry and some wet, in comradeship with the Ecosocialist working group of the Santa Cruz DSA. "Connecting the dots" brought together groups and individuals who live and work in the Central Coast and Salinas Valley to identify our varying concerns and how we might work together for social and climate justice, human and environmental health, and mutual aid in our region.

1. May 11, Moss Landing
2. June 23, King City
3. August 4, Fort Ord
4. Sept 8, walk in solidarity with the Amah Mutsun in their struggle for Juristac
5. October 19, San Ardo
6. November 26, San Miguel
7. November 17, San Luis Obispo
